The Account Executive is an outside business-to-business sales professional who starts out with our highly regarded onboarding program and is responsible for retaining and growing current accounts and for gaining new market share in a given territory.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Identify new potential customers and sell software solutions, video conferencing, SMART Technology, Managed Print Services, Managed Network Services, and the Xerox hardware.
  • Maintain sustained sales activities: phone calls, prospecting, qualifying and making customer calls, appointments, assessments, proposals, database updates and closing new business.
  • Maximize cross-selling by providing a consultative approach to all sales calls.
  • Utilizes a CRM, 3rd party database, and the internet to research prospects and qualify leads to increase contact to appointment ratio benchmarks.
  • Attends and participates in sales seminars and sales meetings to develop sales skills.
  • Commit to personal development in order to stay up to date on market trends and impacts.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

BS/BA degree in business or other related field

Previous business-to-business sales experience preferred

Previous experience in the technology field preferred

Previous experience with building relationships and trust with clients

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

English (reading, writing, verbal)

 

MATH SKILLS

Basic business math

 

REQUIREMENTS

Valid drivers' license and minimum levels of auto insurance coverage
