The Major Account Manager's focus is to meet the goals and initiatives of the clients within the list assignment. This includes providing technology solutions to large local and national accounts selling, hardware, managed print/copy services, managed network services, and related software solutions.

• Contact prospects via telephone, cold call and email
• Maintains sustained sales activities to grow major accounts; phone calls, marketing letters, appointments, assessments, proposals and database updates
• Develops complex proposals including detailed floor plans, documented activity levels (Excel), costs analyses (Excel) and proposed solutions (PowerPoint)
• Meets or exceeds revenue expectations
• Prepares daily/weekly action plans to ensure focused activity
• Keeps abreast of changes in technology, and possesses an understanding of basic user abilities to propose solutions
• Serve as a first line of contact with customers responsible to create and maintain accurate paperwork on each sale
• Become an expert in Print Analysis and it's benefits to the customer
• Assess clients needs, recommending the appropriate technology solution
• Increase services within current customer base
• Create net new opportunities through our value-add programs
• Share vision statement to help COTG continue to be the number one solution in the Chicagoland area

• Proficiency using MS Office Suites, e.g., PowerPoint, Excel and Word and the internet for research

• BS/BA degree in business or other related field preferred
• Previous business-to-business sales experience preferred

• Intermediate (calculate percentages, cost, and lease rates)

• Valid Drives license and minimum levels of auto insurance coverage
